The Mountains are Calling…
Recently the phrase, “The mountains are calling and I must go,” popped into my (Darlene’s) mind. Dad McCoy used to wear a shirt that said, “The road is calling and I must go.” These phrases evoke thoughts of adventure in most people but apprehension in my heart, representing hard things to overcome. God has been speaking to me about embracing these mountains because He climbs them with me. We are in times of hardship and uncertainty but God does not call us to stay at base camp but persevere to the mountaintop where there is victory and new perspective.
We know some mountains are ahead of us in 2025 and hardship might stand in the path but we know the God of the mountains and His plan will prevail.
