Returning to the Philippines this year has been amazing and encouraging. It was 37 years ago that our family first came here to help another family and serve the people here in whatever way we could. It started with Bob Sr. helping teach about 12 Bible School students in Mountain Province. Then it involved looking after a church and teaching at another Bible School on the edge of Manila. Seeds were sown. Investments in lives were made. Kids moved back to the States while Bob and Evelyn continued on to Vietnam and many more nations.
Now, decades later, everywhere we visit we see multiplication and fruitfulness! Bob Sr’s original Bible school students have gone faithfully forward. They are overseeing more than 80 churches in the north. We have the joy of visiting these places. Some of their children are now also pastors with whom we partner. The youth group members he looked after in Manila are now pastoring many churches in Metro Manila and the surrounding areas. They are reaching into schools, jails and the darkest communities to shine the light and love of God. One family going to help another family for the Kingdom of God has grown to thousands of lives being impacted on a weekly basis. In all the craziness of this world, this is really good news! A huge “Thank You!” to each and every one of you who have been a part of our family and ministry and story!
